The Italian Cooperation renews anti-corruption commitment in Ukraine
The Italian Cooperation has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting legality, transparency, and fighting corruption in Ukraine during a roundtable discussion held at the AICS Kiev Regional Office with a delegation from UNDP, engaged in the country with projects dedicated to social cohesion, institution-building, and transparency, and Giovanni Kessler, former Director of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) from 2011 to 2017.
Women leading Ukraine: a conversation with Daria Kaleniuk
Daria Kaleniuk is the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Anti-Corruption Action Center, a prominent national organization that has shaped anti-corruption and judicial reforms in Ukraine. Daria is also a co-founder of the International Center for Ukrainian Victory (ICUV). On the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, she shared the remarkable involvement of Ukrainian women in the resistance against the Russian invasion of 2022 and their crucial role in promoting international actions.
Mission to Odessa: reconstruction of the Transfiguration Cathedral
Italy's Special Envoy for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, Davide La Cecilia, accompanied by a delegation from the Italian Embassy and Pietro Pipi, the head of the regional office of AICS Kyiv, visited Odessa alongside UNESCO's Director for Ukraine, Chiara Dezzi Bardeschi. Their objective was to establish a coordination mechanism for the city's reconstruction project. This project includes the restoration of the Transfiguration Cathedral, securing cultural sites in the historic center listed on UNESCO's endangered heritage list, and developing the city's master plan.
